NEW OR EXPERIENCED

New to Yoga?
You don't need to know the poses before your first session.
Working privately gives you time to ask questions, learn the basics, try modifications and move at your own pace before deciding whether you'd like to continue privately or join a class.
Already Practice Yoga?
Individual instruction isn't only for beginners.
Private Yoga gives experienced students time to explore poses more closely, refine technique, ask questions and get feedback that can be difficult to receive in a group class.

Private Yoga or Yoga Therapy?
There's an important difference.
Both are individualized, but they are not the same service.
PRIVATE YOGA
Private Yoga is individualized yoga instruction focused on your yoga practice and goals.
It may be a good fit if you want to:
-
Learn yoga privately
-
Improve your technique
-
Work on strength, balance, mobility or flexibility
-
Learn modifications
-
Return to your yoga practice
-
Receive more individual attention

YOGA THERAPY
Yoga Therapy is a more in-depth therapeutic process led by a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). It begins with a comprehensive intake, with yoga practices selected and adapted therapeutically around your individual needs.
It may be the more appropriate starting point if you're seeking help primarily because of:
-
Persistent pain or discomfort
-
A diagnosed physical condition
-
Significant changes in mobility or balance
-
A physical limitation that makes traditional yoga or exercise difficult
-
A concern requiring more specialized assessment and adaptation
What Happens in a Private Yoga Session?
We start with you.
Your instructor will want to know what brought you in, what you'd like to work on, your experience with yoga and any questions you have about your practice.
From there, the session can be personalized around your goals and experience.
You'll have time to ask questions, slow things down, practice modifications and receive individual feedback as you move.
This isn't a group class with one person in it.
It's time specifically set aside for your practice.
