Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’ve never done yoga before?

You are not alone. Many people who come to Foundations Yoga are completely new to yoga or returning after many years away. We offer supportive options designed to help you get started comfortably and confidently.

What should I bring?

Just wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. If you own a yoga mat, feel free to bring it. Any additional props you may need are available at the studio.

What if I can’t get up and down from the floor easily?

That’s okay. Some students begin with more supportive class options, private sessions, or yoga therapy depending on their comfort level and mobility needs. We’re happy to help guide you toward the best starting point.

Should I start with private sessions or group classes?

That depends on your comfort level and goals. Some people feel comfortable jumping into beginner-friendly group classes, while others prefer starting with a private session for more personalized guidance and support.

Do I need a membership to buy a membership?

We typically encourage new students to begin with our New Client Special, as it gives you the opportunity to explore different class styles and instructors before deciding what feels like the best fit. After that, we offer a variety of flexible options including memberships, class passes, and drop-in classes designed to support different schedules, goals, and comfort levels.
