Sandra Izsa RYT 500, E-RYT 200, YACEP, Certified Crystal Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher.  Sandy is the owner of Foundations Yoga.  She is a licensed speech and language pathologist with over 25 years of experience in working with both children and adults. She is an advocate for all people and a believer in yoga’s ability to improve the quality of life for all individuals. Sandy carries the following additional certifications: Restorative Yoga, Yoga for the Special Child Basic 1, ChildLight Yoga and Mindfulness for Children, and Childlight Yoga and Mindfulness for Teens and Tweens. It is her passion to bring yoga into the lives of those in her community and to help guide individuals in their journey toward improved health, happiness and balance.

Katie Thode is an E-RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with the yoga alliance. Katie began practicing yoga as a teenager.  After continuing with her practice over many years, she decided to take her yoga lifestyle to the next level. Katie completed her 200-hour training through New Jersey Yoga Teacher Training with Stephanie Parcells and Cynthia Romano in 2017. Katie also received her Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training through NJYTT in 2017. Katie is passionate about teaching vinyasa classes that encourage yogis to focus deep within and find themselves in the present moment. She encourages students to use their breath as a guide as they transition through flows meant to challenge the mind and body. Her flow classes are paired with uplifting and inspiring music.

Debbie Kephart is a RYT 500, E-RYT 200 in affiliation with Yoga Alliance and a Reiki level III practitioner.  She is certified in Relax & Renew (Judith Lasiter), Restorative Therapeutics (Jillian Pransky), and Yin yoga.  Debbie  has completed Mindful Flow training with Jullian Pransky and is currently enrolled in her 300 hr. training program with Bhakti Barn Yoga.  Teaching yoga since 2003, Debbie enjoys learning from her students and life as well as her teachers.  She invites her students to work with their breath and alignment, then explore their depth, encouraging the use (and play) with props. The evolution of our practice (and ourselves) requires both effort and ease.

Emma is a RYT-200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance. She completed her training last year in Rishikesh, India during her gap year. Emma has been practicing yoga since her dad took her to her first class almost five years ago. In addition to teaching and practicing yoga, Emma is currently an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University. Emma is a passionate learner and hopes to bring this energy into her practice by inspiring reflection and integrating new and old techniques and styles.

Michelle is an RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance and a licensed physical therapist.  She has been teaching yoga for 10 years. Michelle started her teaching journey in college with Yogafit with focus on the foundations of yoga philosophy, asana, anatomy and yoga for seniors. She also completed her 200 RYT with an inclusion yin immersion in 2018.  Michelle is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience in all ages, particularly those who are 50 years and older. She believes that yoga is for everyone and is a great source for those seeking healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually. She believes that our bodies are incredibly strong and they deserve the special attention on the mat that yoga offers through breath and asana. Her practices emphasize anatomy, joint and muscular integrity and intention.  Michelle’s classes are designed to provide safe and enjoyable movement for everyone!

Jeannie is a 200 RYT in affiliation with Yoga Alliance, a certified Yin yoga instructor and a Reiki III practitioner. She found her yoga journey, or as she likes to say, yoga found her about 15 years ago. Jeannie enjoys flows, meditation and learning the deeper aspects of yoga and continues to live her life as a student. She loves taking workshops that deepen her understanding, asana classes and workshops that physically strengthen and challenge her and meditation workshops that help her mind. Jeannie believes yoga is for everyone exactly where they are in life. With practice, yoga helps keep our bodies flexible, our minds sharp and our feet grounded as we try to move through this world with ease and laughter.

Sarah is a yoga and meditation educator and she is passionate about helping you feel empowered to live your best life. Sarah received her 200hr yoga teaching certification from the Bright Spirit Yoga Training under the tutelage of Jillian Pransky and Carrie Parker-Gastelu. She went on to receive her 500hr yoga teaching certification from Kripalu in Lenox, Massachusetts, studying with Coby Kozlowski, Sudhir Jonathan Foust, Larissa Hall Carlson, and Michelle Dalbec. Sarah has also taken trainings in meditation, Journey Dance, ecstatic dance, ayurveda, and positional therapy. She has completed Janet Stone's courses in The Yoga Sutras and Bhakti Yoga. As an outdoor enthusiast, Cynthia Tarantino (RYT 500) weaves into her yoga classes a passion for nature, breath awareness, alignment and yogic philosophy as a moving meditation for practitioners of all levels. She has completed a 250 hour teacher training with Laurie Green of YogaNine and a 300 hour advanced training with Betsy Davis and Vanessa Nassif at Bhakti Barn in Millburn. To deepen her ability to bring healing and wellness to her students, Cynthia is a Master Practitioner of Reiki, a Japanese hands-on energy healing practice that guides “the life energy” through the body and has trained in deep relaxation in restorative yoga with Jillian Pransky.
