Sandra Izsa E-RYT 200, YACEP, CCH, Reiki Master Teacher. Sandra is the owner of Foundations Yoga. She is a licensed speech and language pathologist with over 20 years of experience in working with both children and adults. She is an advocate for all people and a believer in yoga’s ability to improve the quality of life for all individuals. Sandra carries the following additional certifications: Restorative Yoga, Yoga for the Special Child Basic 1, ChildLight Yoga and Mindfulness for Children, and Childlight Yoga and Mindfulness for Teens and Tweens. It is her passion to bring yoga into the lives of those in her community and to help guide individuals in their journey toward improved health, happiness, and balance.
Anna Major M.Ed., E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP, Reiki Master Teacher. Anna Major has a passion for learning, teaching, and yoga. She went from formal public school teaching to traveling India studying yoga, immersing herself in culture and self-discovery. Anna completed a 200-hour Ashtanga/Hatha training at Shiva Yoga Peeth in Rishikesh in 2015, followed by a 300-hour Ashtanga/Hatha training at Yogadarshanam in Mysore in 2017. Soon after, she participated in a 10-day vipassana meditation course in Kerala. In addition to being an E-RYT 200, Anna is a Reiki Master Teacher practitioner and a certified restorative yoga instructor. She has completed a Divine Sleep®️ Yoga Nidra training with Jennifer Reis and 75-hour trauma training through Embodied Philosophy. Anna believes in the power of yoga as a transformative and healing practice. She is excited to share her passion for yoga with everyone she meets and instill excitement in the process of self-discovery through yoga!
Katie Thode is an E-RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with the yoga alliance. Katie began practicing yoga as a teenager. After continuing with her practice over many years, she decided to take her yoga lifestyle to the next level. Katie completed her 200-hour training through New Jersey Yoga Teacher Training with Stephanie Parcells and Cynthia Romano in 2017. Katie also received her Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training through NJYTT in 2017. Katie is passionate about teaching vinyasa classes that encourage yogis to focus deep within and find themselves in the present moment. She encourages students to use their breath as a guide as they transition through flows meant to challenge the mind and body. Her flow classes are paired with uplifting and inspiring music.
Michelle is a 200 hour yoga instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance and licensed massage therapist. She is currently enrolled in the 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training through Radiant Heart Yoga.
Michelle enjoys crafting creative and thoughtful sequences with purpose that allow her students to discover strength, courage, and harmony. By focusing on breath, alignment, strength, balance, flexibility and endurance Michelle creates challenging classes for both mind and body that are accessible to all. She encourages her students to understand that yoga is more than a physical workout. It is a practice that enables you to bring balance to your life. Michelle is currently taking classes toward a 300 hour YTT where she hopes to gain more knowledge and experience making her a more well-rounded yoga teacher.
Debbie Kephart is an E-RYT 200 in affiliation with Yoga Alliance and a Reiki level III practitioner. She is certified in Relax & Renew (Judith Lasiter), Restorative Therapeutics (Jillian Pransky), and Yin yoga. Debbie has completed Mindful Flow training with Jullian Pransky and is currently enrolled in her 300 hr. training program with Bhakti Barn Yoga. Teaching yoga since 2003, Debbie enjoys learning from her students and life as well as her teachers. She invites her students to work with their breath and alignment, then explore their depth, encouraging the use (and play) with props. The evolution of our practice (and ourselves) requires both effort and ease.
Emma is a RYT-200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance. She completed her training last year in Rishikesh, India during her gap year. Emma has been practicing yoga since her dad took her to her first class almost five years ago. In addition to teaching and practicing yoga, Emma is currently an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University. Emma is a passionate learner and hopes to bring this energy into her practice by inspiring reflection and integrating new and old techniques and styles.
Cheryl is an RYT 200 yoga instructor and Reiki Master with over 700 supplemental hours of yoga therapy and yoga training. She is currently enrolled in both the 500 hour therapeutic advanced teacher training at Yoga Impact and the Ayurveda Wellness Consultant Training with the Institute of Ayurveda Medicine. Cheryl carries additional certifications and training hours in both Yin yoga and children’s yoga.
Cheryl's teaching journey began in 2017 when she began coursework at Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. She is passionate about using yoga therapy as inspiration for her classes.
Cheryl’s ultimate hope is for all of the students to connect to their own inner wisdom and to live from that state. For Cheryl, yoga is not only about flexibility of bodies but more about discovering what lies within our own hearts and souls.
Claire is an RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance and a Reiki 3 practitioner. She carries an additional 30 hour certification in Sprit Speak with Seane Corn.
Claire is a creative, soulful, authentic individual with a passion for the therapeutic effects of both art and movement. As a graduate from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's in Fine Art, Claire continues to live out her passion through personal work and teaching private lessons. She has always been comfortable getting lost within the rhythm of her paint brush. Once yoga had been introduced to her in 2008; Claire's art form expanded into the realms of breath and body. She is looking forward to making yoga an accessible art form to all through her teaching.
Michelle is an RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance and a licensed physical therapist. She has been teaching yoga for 10 years. Michelle started her teaching journey in college with Yogafit with focus on the foundations of yoga philosophy, asana, anatomy and yoga for seniors. She also completed her 200 RYT with an inclusion yin immersion in 2018. Michelle is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience in all ages, particularly those who are 50 years and older. She believes that yoga is for everyone and is a great source for those seeking healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually. She believes that our bodies are incredibly strong and they deserve the special attention on the mat that yoga offers through breath and asana. Her practices emphasize anatomy, joint and muscular integrity and intention. Michelle’s classes are designed to provide safe and enjoyable movement for everyone!
Jeannie is a 200 RYT in affiliation with Yoga Alliance, a certified Yin yoga instructor and a Reiki III practitioner. She found her yoga journey, or as she likes to say, yoga found her about 15 years ago. Jeannie enjoys flows, meditation and learning the deeper aspects of yoga and continues to live her life as a student. She loves taking workshops that deepen her understanding, asana classes and workshops that physically strengthen and challenge her and meditation workshops that help her mind. Jeannie believes yoga is for everyone exactly where they are in life. With practice, yoga helps keep our bodies flexible, our minds sharp and our feet grounded as we try to move through this world with ease and laughter.
