
Sandra Izsa E-RYT 500, YACEP, Certified Crystal Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher. Sandy is the owner of Foundations Yoga. She is a licensed speech and language pathologist with over 25 years of experience in working with both children and adults. She is an advocate for all people and a believer in yoga’s ability to improve the quality of life for all individuals. Sandy carries the following additional certifications: Restorative Yoga, Yoga for the Special Child Basic 1, ChildLight Yoga and Mindfulness for Children, and Childlight Yoga and Mindfulness for Teens and Tweens. It is her passion to bring yoga into the lives of those in her community and to help guide individuals in their journey toward improved health, happiness and balance.

Katie Thode is an E-RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with the yoga alliance. Katie began practicing yoga as a teenager. After continuing with her practice over many years, she decided to take her yoga lifestyle to the next level. Katie completed her 200-hour training through New Jersey Yoga Teacher Training with Stephanie Parcells and Cynthia Romano in 2017. Katie also received her Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training through NJYTT in 2017. Katie is passionate about teaching vinyasa classes that encourage yogis to focus deep within and find themselves in the present moment. She encourages students to use their breath as a guide as they transition through flows meant to challenge the mind and body. Her flow classes are paired with uplifting and inspiring music.

Marci is an RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance. She completed her yoga training at the American Yoga Academy. Marci completed additional training through Peace Play Yoga with Pamela Nixon and carries a children’s yoga certification. Since completing her children’s yoga teacher training, she has been providing yoga and mindfulness programming in local school districts as part of their enrichment program. Marci combines her love for yoga and empowering children, teens and adults by helping individuals develop their mindfulness practices, build confidence and gain flexibility in both the body and mind.

Emma Andersson is an RYT-200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance. She completed her training last year in Rishikesh, India during her gap year. Emma has been practicing yoga since her dad took her to her first class almost five years ago. In addition to teaching and practicing yoga, Emma is currently an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University. Emma is a passionate learner and hopes to bring this energy into her practice by inspiring reflection and integrating new and old techniques and styles.

Jeannie Greene E- RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP Jeannie completed her 200 hour teacher training at Foundations Yoga and her 500 hour teacher training at Integral Yoga Institute. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and trained in Hatha Yoga and meditation. She carries additional certifications in Yin Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Raja Yoga and Accessible Yoga. Jeannie is currently working on completing her training to become a certified Yoga Therapist through IAYT. She believes yoga offers endless opportunities for self exploration through breath work and asana. Every time we step on our mats, we have a new opportunity for self discovery.

Erin is an RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance, a licensed occupational therapist and Reiki Level 2 practitioner. Erin has been teaching yoga locally since 2016 after completing her yoga teacher training in Bangor, Maine. She believes in the principles of slow strength to cultivate mental fortitude both on and off the mat. Erin is a licensed occupational therapist in pursuit of her doctorate through Boston University. She has worked in a variety of settings from acute care, orthopedics, subacute care and currently works in pediatrics. Yoga and its varied methods and philosophies are incorporated into her work as an occupational therapist across all settings. When it comes to her personal yoga practice, her preference is a hot power class. However as an instructor, she designs her classes to be attainable for a wide variety of people with the inclusion of varied options and modifications. Erin places a strong emphasis on grounding in posture to help promote proper alignment for a safe and sustainable practice.

Michelle is an RYT 200 instructor in affiliation with Yoga Alliance and a licensed physical therapist. She has been teaching yoga for 10 years. Michelle started her teaching journey in college with Yogafit with focus on the foundations of yoga philosophy, asana, anatomy and yoga for seniors. She also completed her 200 RYT with an inclusion yin immersion in 2018. Michelle is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience in all ages, particularly those who are 50 years and older. She believes that yoga is for everyone and is a great source for those seeking healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually. She believes that our bodies are incredibly strong and they deserve the special attention on the mat that yoga offers through breath and asana. Her practices emphasize anatomy, joint and muscular integrity and intention. Michelle’s classes are designed to provide safe and enjoyable movement for everyone!

Sarah is a yoga and meditation educator and she is passionate about helping you feel empowered to live your best life. Sarah received her 200hr yoga teaching certification from the Bright Spirit Yoga Training under the tutelage of Jillian Pransky and Carrie Parker-Gastelu. She went on to receive her 500hr yoga teaching certification from Kripalu in Lenox, Massachusetts, studying with Coby Kozlowski, Sudhir Jonathan Foust, Larissa Hall Carlson, and Michelle Dalbec. Sarah has also taken trainings in meditation, Journey Dance, ecstatic dance, ayurveda, and positional therapy. She has completed Janet Stone's courses in The Yoga Sutras and Bhakti Yoga. Julie is an RYT 200 in affiliation with Yoga Alliance. Additionally, she has studied Open FocusⓇ meditation and attention techniques for reducing stress-related symptoms and enhancing well-being. Julie enjoys her time teaching social and emotional learning skills to preschoolers, creating art with her 7 year old daughter and spending time outdoors with her family. Prior to her career in wellness, Julie served as an award-winning Creative Director at advertising agencies serving Fortune 100 clients. Her most rewarding professional project was working with life coach Martha Beck, the University of Michigan and Eli Lilly Corporation to promote a nationally recognized medicine-free symptom management program for patients with Fibromyalgia.
