Program Description
Foundations Yoga of New Jersey teacher training program is nationally accredited through Yoga Alliance. This 200 hour teacher training program is designed to ensure that you develop the confidence needed to share your passion for yoga and effectively lead others in their own personal yoga journey. Our 200 hour training program places a heavy emphasis on making yoga accessible for all people, especially those not often considered in mainstream western yoga culture.
This program is appropriate for those that are interested in becoming a Yoga Instructor, as well as those who are interested in deepening their own personal practice. Your trainers have incorporated their background in the fields of therapy, education, and yoga to create a highly supportive training experience. The teacher training program is spread out over seven months allowing students time to absorb information, practice, and enjoy their journey while maintaining their daily commitments.
This teacher training is designed to help you develop your skills as a leader. Through this journey, you will deepen your knowledge of the practice of yoga, learn the art of creating meaningful and engaging asana sequences, learn to integrate yoga into your daily life, learn how to incorporate crystal healing into your practice, and develop the ability to share your passion for yoga with others.
Your tuition includes free unlimited yoga for the duration of the teacher training program. There is an emphasis on admitting a small cohort of trainees to offer more individualized attention and support throughout this experience. Our program will allow you to build relationships and create your yoga community. Enjoy the benefit of a life long supportive network of trainers and fellow trainees. Early bird pricing includes all required reading materials, our crystal healing workshop and post graduation instructor mentoring program at no additional cost!
The schedule includes one full weekend and one additional day per month with the exception of March which includes two full weekends. Every attempt has been made to divide these training sessions evenly to provide students with continuous support.
Attendance policy: In order to meet Yoga Alliance requirements, all scheduled training sessions are mandatory for graduation. We understand that there may be conflicts with the schedule. If a session needs to be missed, meeting time can be scheduled as a 1:1 session with one of our trainers at an additional expense.
